So I just bought a new laptop and thought to IM to create a wireless network to share my Internet connection with my desktop PC and two laptops. I'm on a DSL connection is not câble.Donc my question is this modem / router is best? I want to be a modem and router so you can get rid of my current modem, because it is a bit obsolète.Donc, anyone can make suggestions for good fast routers (i Games Online, Call of Duty 4, etc) are also relatively cheap (less than 50 pounds if possible) I live in the UK for postage is also possible links bien.Merci important.si.

Linksys allows to configure different modes, like NAT gaming and so on. But it is hard to configure sometimes.
Netgear also is best option.
couldnt tell you the best ones but stay away from the BT hubs/modems they are sh1t. when you find out the best one on here i will try it too
i use a cable modem that connects through ethernet to a WBNR something,
its a wireless router, its supposed to have 4 wireless connections on top of 4 wired ethernet ports,
the only issue i have with it is using bittorrent,
but i still get decent ping..
I own both an Actiontech and Linksys. The Actiontech has lasted me since 2003 with no issues, but the Linksys has been nothing but headaches due to having to constantly reset the unit or reseat cables.
